Jennifer Rebecca Huesman, age 39, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 4, 2011.

Jennifer was born on July 6, 1972 in Lincoln Park, Michigan. She graduated from Holy Name High School in Parma Heights in 1990 and attended the University of Toledo, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. After graduation Jenni worked in Social Work extensively with the Developmentally Disabled population to bring joy and hope to the lives of individuals in need. She often put others ahead of herself even after transitioning to the medical field, when in 2005 she became a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. She worked locally and in Columbus for Advanced Radiology Corporation since 2006, and recently transferred to the Cleveland area to be closer to her family.

Jenni loved animals, especially her dog and cats, and volunteered at an Animal Shelter.

She is survived by her parents, R. Michael and Linda (nee Gasho) Huesman, of Lorain; her brother, Daniel (Jennifer Lynn) Huesman and her Godson, Sebastian Huesman of Toledo, the joy of her life; her maternal grandmother, Lucille Gasho of Lorain and her paternal grandparents, Robert P. and Marie Huesman of Avon.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Andrew J. Gasho.

The family invites friends to join them for a memorial mass at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St. Joseph Drive, Amherst. Rev. Fr. Lawrence Martello, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Far West Center, 29133 Health Campus Drive Westlake, Ohio 44145.

The Dovin and Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Center, 1110 Cooper Foster Park Rd., Amherst, is handling the arrangements.
